Telediagnosis
A speech-driven symptom extraction and prediction pipeline for accessible telehealth. It explores how thoughtful interfaces can extend preliminary care to underserved communities.
Overview
Telediagnosis is a telehealth concept that accepts spoken symptoms, extracts relevant information, and returns a possible ailment. It was designed around the challenge of healthcare access in communities where doctors are difficult to reach. Through this project, I wanted to provide a platform for accessible healthcare to people in rural areas, and to explore how speech-based interfaces can be used to improve the accessibility of telehealth services. This was an extension of my work at NYAS (New York Academy of Sciences) where I am a member of the Junior Academy.
